How to Talk to your Teenager ~ £10.00

How many times have you had that conversation where you and your teen seem to be in different rooms?  Would you like to be able to know that your message has been received and understood?  And would you like to be able to understand what they are actually saying to you?  In this talk we look at interesting ways of developing respectful conversations, without emotional outbursts and with positive outcomes.   Topics covered include

• Being responsive, not reactive,
• Listening and feedback
• Fault, blame and blinkers

Buddhist Mindfulness Evening
Theresa Payne
7.30pm Wednesday 31st March

Theresa Payne leads meditation evenings at the Friends Meeting House in Marlborough and has agreed to come to the Wellbeing Clinic to run her Buddhist style evening on Wednesday 31st March. She studies with Thich Nhat Hanh, the Zen Master and has practised with him for the last 15 years.

The Astrology of Relationships ~ tickets £5.00
David Rowan
7.30pm Tuesday 18th May

David Rowan teaches about astrology and human behaviour and has created the course 'The Dynamics of Astrology' and became one of the first Master of Arts in Cultural Astronomy & Astrology at Bath Spa University. His New Pathways course incorporates Modern Applied Psychology, NLP, Hypnotherapy, Time Line Therapy and Psychobiology. He will be at the Wellbeing Clinic on Tuesday 18th May to talk about the cosmology of love.

The Wellbeing Clinic are pleased to promote the visit by Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh who is visiting the UK in August, this is a rare event and we will be keeping you posted.

Thich Nhat Hanh, the Zen Master, poet, peacemaker and author was nominated in 1967 by Martin Luther King for the Nobel Peace Prize. His Holiness the Dalai Lama describes him as "..showing the connection between personal inner peace and peace on earth." He is making one of his rare visits to England and you can find out more from www.mindfulnessretreats.org.uk.
